La Navidad es muy importante para mí pues es el festejo del nacimiento de Jesucristo. Con este nuevo retrato aprovecho para desear a todos y cada uno de ustedes muchas felicidades durante estas fiestas. Que el próximo 2021 sea un año lleno de salud, felicidad y prosperidad.

Christmas is very important to me because it is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. With this new portrait, I take the opportunity to wish each and every one of you congratulations during these Holidays. May 2021 be a year full of health, happiness and prosperity.

En esta pintura retrato a mi hijo Iván de espaldas en nuestra casa de Toluca durante una de nuestras tertulias de arte.

Pintura acrílica aplicada con el dedo.   Esta foto es lo único que queda pues se perdió el original. Era parte de un trabajo mayor que quedó inconcluso.

Estrella Polar / Polar Star

 

Como hadas luminosas que danzan eternamente en el escenario del hermoso, profundo e inmutable firmamento, las estrellas formando constelaciones que giran alrededor de su reina, la Estrella Polar.

Like luminous fairies dancing eternally on the stage of the beautiful, deep and immutable firmament, the stars forming constellations revolve around their queen, the Polar Star.

Iván Blanco Chávez es un Diseñador y Comunicador Visual mexicano, aficionado a la ciencia ficción y la fantasía. Ha emprendido su camino en las artes plásticas, y el discurso de su trabajo, es la búsqueda de una mitología personal. Influenciado por el cine, la literatura y la música, encuentra su manera de expresarse a través de la pintura, la ilustración, y la escultura. En sus propias palabras "El arte cuenta las mejore historias".

Iván Blanco Chávez is a Mexican Designer and Visual Communicator, fond of science fiction and fantasy. He has embarked on his path in the plastic arts, and the discourse of his work is the search for a personal mythology. Influenced by cinema, literature and music, he found his way of expressing himself through painting, illustration, and sculpture. In his own words "Art tells the best stories."

Me siento alegre con la vida pues al despertar por la mañana y salir a mi balcón para dar las gracias a Dios por un día más, vi el cielo azul, los pajarillos vinieron a pedirme alpiste y escuche las voces de niños jugando a lo lejos. Se lo difícil que este año ha sido para todos pero al verme rodeado de tanta belleza, mi corazón brinco feliz lleno de esperanza por este nuestro gran y ruidoso mundo. Pronto todo estará bien. Paz y amor mis queridos amigos.

I feel happy with life because when I wake up in the morning and go out to my balcony to thank God for one more day, I saw the blue sky, the birds came to ask me for birdseed and I heard the voices of children playing in the distance. I know how difficult this year has been for everyone, but seeing myself surrounded by so much beauty, my heart leapt happily full of hope for this our great and noisy world. Soon everything will be fine. Peace and love my dear friends.

Mellizos, aparentemente idénticos y totalmente distinto a la vez. Si los encuentras en la noche oscura no puedes distinguir entre uno y otro, para eso necesitas un rayo de luz.

Twins, apparently identical and totally different at the same time. If you find them in the dark night you cannot distinguish between one and the other, for that you need a ray of light.
